SLUG - SolidWorks Louisville User Group Meeting
March 19th, 2014
Our first meeting for 2014 is coming up on March 19th, Wednesday 6:00 - 8:30 pm at Purdue University - College of Technology at New Albany. We have a great presentation.
- I Learned (Some) Surfacing - So Can You
Richard Doyle will present I Learned (Some) Surfacing – So Can You
Presented at SolidWorks World 2013, this may have been the worst surfacing presentation ever. Come see how Richard failed at his task of achieving a 4.0 score at SWW and why things went so badly. You’ll learn of Richard’s initial approach, the ups and downs of self-teaching, and a list of what not to do if you are trying to learn SolidWorks Surfacing. You’ll also get some insight on a better approach, and you can see how far Richard has come since that fateful day in Orlando. If you are just starting with surfacing, you will enjoy this presentation. Richard also promises to throw in some classic SolidWorks Tips and Tricks that everyone will enjoy.
Richard Doyle is the Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call him "The User Group Guy". Richard been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, his career path has led him to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
