SOLIDWORKS 2014  SP3.0

I am trying different ways to create an incline curve.  I do the lofted bends with helix sketches and that works fine but I would like to start with my flat part and add a sketched bend.  It seem that the maxiumum bend radius is 37 degrees.  If I use any othe radius greater than 37°, then the sketched bend fails.  What to do?
