I have a simple Part created using an extruded cut to make hole then patterning and mirroring hole to achieve correct pattern.  I then Converted entities to a new sketch on that part. So any changes to part updates this sketch.  Then I save that driven sketch as a block in Library.  However, a change to original part does not update the Library part.  If I open the block saved in library there is no constraints as it is a driven sketch.   I would have to edit original part resave sketch as block and overide original.  Is there a way to make a block linked to an original sketch? 

the idea here is that I could insert block to give me correct hole pattern to accept original part.
