I come from a long history of using SW (since '95) but after the disaster of 2005 I discontinued my maintenance.  Today I'm back for 2010.

Here's an oddity with the new multi item menus.

Anyway, I work with single command per pick, and double click the tool if I want more than one.

So let's say I'm creating a centerline and I want multiple ones.  There's no way to double click it because it disappears as soon as I click it once.

How can I activate multiple center lines with the new menu system?

As a workaround for now, I created a new menu and dragged the center line icon onto it so I could double click.  Surely this is not a real solution.
