Hello I just got the simulation software, and ran into a problem. 
I have an assembly and one of the parts is not bonded to the rest, so the simulation fails. 

The connection menu states global contact but it doesn't act that way.
I also have all the parts fixed in the assembly.

I get this error: 

"The Iterative Solver stopped.

The solver has numerical difficulties.

Model may not have adequate fixtures.

No results saved."

I am able to create the mesh OK. 

I also have adequate fixtures at one end.

Any ideas?
