I am running SW2018 and I am trying to run a simple simulation. But I have a question about bolt connections.

I have a simple assembly with a C profile bracket and a pipe that goes between the flanges and they have holes that are aligned to be bolted or to put a pin (refer screenshots). So in Solidworks I can't select the edge of the pipe since it is curved and not circular edge. And if I select outside edges of the C bracket that it seems in simulation that pipe doesn't even know that the bolts or pins are there. What should I do ?
