Hi All!

I am working on a very thin sheet metal part.  This sheet metal part has a hook of sorts on the end of it and it is contained inside of a plastic enclosure.  When applying force to one end of the sheet metal part this hook is pushed out of the enclosure and expands like a spring.  When letting off the force the hook goes back into the enclosure.  The enclosure is nothing more than a plastic tube that holds this metal piece.  I want to know if it is possible to animate this action, or the action of bending sheet metal in an assembly.  The motion is very similar to a wall anchor expanding (except without the screw on the inside).  This isn't for any kind of stress simulation.  I just need to simulate the motion of the hook expanding and contracting as it leaves the plastic enclosure.

Is this possible?
