I have been trying to open SolidWorks 2016 for a while and been getting a side-by-side configuration error message.

I am downloading from a University web page and using the serial number and server provided to me, I am also on the VPN which is necessary for the program to run.

I have ran and older version of SolidWorks on my computer before when I had Windows 8.1.

Currently running Windows 10, I'm not sure if this is the problem.

I have tried most options including:

a complete uninstall

uninstalling and re-install of every Microsoft C++ file

I also ran the sxstrace which output the log provided as an attachment.

This problem has been very frustrating and no one has been able to help. I would appreciate any assistance on the matter.
