I am trying to illustrate the silkscreen artwork on a part. Currently our silkscreen is done in Adobe Illustrator and then given to me. However, my solidworks computer soes not have adobe illustrator. I have the capability to save the pattern in a .jpg, .dxf..or a .PDF......I have tried inserting the artwork in as a sketch picture and tracing but the tracing that solidworks does is awful and the lines go all over the place. I have also tried adding it in as a decal but the artwork doesnt come in at the same aspect ratio as it was saved from the adobe program for some reason. I thought that there was some sort of way to insert as a sketch picture and then do a split line to give the same effect. Any help would be greaty appreciated.
