show plane offset dim in drawing

We're being told you can not import the offset dimension of a plane from your model into its drawing.

Question:  WHY NOT?  A plane offset dimension is NO different than a sketch dimension or any other annotation.

The dimension can be seen when the plane is perpendicular to the viewing plane.in the drawing.

The offset plane is used to locate features and the locating (offset) dim should be editable from the drawing just like any other feature dimension.

That's the WHOLE purpose of fully paramaterized models & drawings.
