I think the "Show Dimension Names" option should be under documents not system.  When using equations or design table "SDN" is very handy, but is undesirable on my drawings, not to mention confusing to the shop personnel who wonder what .523 (D3) means.  I would like to propose this as a poll.

What are others thoughts on this?
