Hello all,
I currently have 2 aluminum bars that I want to join together with a shoulder screw to allow for controlled, NOT LOOSE, rotation. I'm hoping to borrow the idea of a frictional joint, that is, fasten the bars tightly with the screw. Am I on the right track? Or is there an easier way to do this that requires minimal modeling, parts and engineering?
Details of the aluminum bars:
6"L x 4" W x 1/2"T
6061-T6 Grade, Anodized (possibly)
Size (diameter) for shoulder screw: .375" (not sure yet though, will like recommendations)
Thanks.
