I have been told that Solidworks bases the fix priority on how many users complain. Some fixes have been outstanding for years and closed without implementation.
Quite often, like many I find a way round the bug and it does not get reported but the bug remains and becomes a nusance more than a project stopper.
Should Solidworks fix bugs (any part of Solidworks that does not function as outlined in the Help) even if one person complains?
Or maybe, should that part of Solidworks should be disabled?
There's an argument about wether a bug should be fixed or not because it only affects a small proportion of users and it's costly/time consuming to fix but, if a function is there should it work properly regardless of who uses it?
Just interested on others thoughts.
