Hi, all, I'll try to explain this as simply as possible...

We have many standard parts saved in a specified folder. (We don't have PDM)

There are several parts we use very often, and I would like to keep those parts in the design library. However I need to leave the files in the Master folder, and don't want to save copies as that is a recipe for confusion.

I don't want to add the master folder as a file location in the library, as there are too many file in that folder. I'd like to make a set of folders (i.e. Brackets, Fasteners) etc. and save shortcuts to the files I want there.

Is there anyway to save short cuts in design library? Ideally it would behave exactly as if we were saving the files in the design library.
