How would you go about creating a part this shape in sheet metal? It's a little display stand and the 75 deg angle that it tilts back at is quite important. It's 67mm high, 30mm wide across the open side, and the length of the sides on it's footprint are 45mm. Material is 1.5mm thick stainless.
I've tried several approaches and I'm stumped. Maybe I'm trying to make it more complicated than it is. I've tried:
1. Starting off with a triangular footprint and doing a boss extrude upwards with draft enabled - this creates the wrong angle where you want a 75 deg angle.
2. Creating a 3D sketch of a pyramid, putting a reference plane on each face and then drawing the side profile - converting to sheet metal and then inserting an edge flange for the other side.
3. Creating a 3D sketch of a pyramid, putting a reference plane on each face, drawing a side profile, mirroring about the centre.
