Hi experts,
This may have been discussed in the past but I could not find it in the forum.
I have a part A.sldprt which includes the following:
1. Plate
2. Hole Feature (made through hole wizard), which contains a sketch defining a hole shape and a sketch defining hole locations (multiple points on a plane).
Now, I have a part B.sldprt, where I want to put differently shaped holes on identical locations as holels of A. The hole locations can be simple or complex and I am hoping that I do not have to define the hole points separately. Is there any way to share a sketch or somehow link the hole locations? If not, is there a different approach commonly used to do the same? There will be many many holes not necessarily aligned and they are different depending on customer requirement. Sharing a single sketch ensures that all parts have holes in the identical location.
Thank you
SK
