I am experiencing technical issues with SolidWorks Electrical.

Unable to insert 2D Footprints (Cabinet Layout) I cannot insert any manufacturer parts from the component tree into a 2D Cabinet Layout drawing.

Symptoms:
When dragging a component (e.g., Fuse, Terminal) to the drawing, nothing is inserted. The software does not even generate a generic bounding box (rectangle), even though the manufacturer part has defined dimensions (Width/Height/Depth).

Verified:

The drawing type is correctly set to "Cabinet Layout".

Manufacturer parts have correct physical dimensions.

Coordinate system is correct (near 0,0).

Manual Copy/Paste of existing graphical entities works fine on the sheet.
