Is it just me, or is there a huge gap in the available documentation for getting started with Solidworks?
I've found a ton of information on installing the application, as well as how the various functions work. But have found relatively little on actually setting up the software for first use....
Between System Options and Document Options, there are probably thousands of properties to set up. Some of which are not all that intuitive.
And there are three templates to be set up (Part, Assembly, Drawing) which compounds the number of settings.
Is this information documented somewhere, or is it a process trial and error?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Vince
