Hello,

I'm an instructor for SolidWorks for a company which offers mechanical CAD courses (among others). The course has recently been upgraded to include PDM Works.

I have the basic thing set up. I've installed the vault on the local hard disk, set up different users and groups, etc. I get the basics of VaultAdmin, no problems there.

What I'd like to know is how do I access the vault over the network. For example, I have the vault set-up on Comp1. Now, I would like to access it from Comp2, which is connected via LAN to Comp1. Both having SolidWorks along with PDMWorks.

How do I set-up PDMWorks in Comp2, so that it uses the vault on Comp1!!

Any help would be appereciated.
