Seems Windows will want to keep putting anything in DOCUMENTS into the problematic ransomware OneDrive app, no matter how many times and ways people try to block and delete OneDrive.

Solidworks is OK about saving stuff to last Folder used, but that seems to be last folder in Documents.  

Is there some way to set SW to save to a particular named Folder that is NOT in Documents, such as one I've created and put in Desktop, to avoid OneDrive?   Its a bit of extra work to have to do a bunch of extra clicking to get to my SW folder in Desktop every time I want to Save. 

I guess OneDrive is good for one thing. :)  It pushing people to pay attention and make extra air-gap backups of any files on external Thumb Dives, and double check everything.
