I'm running into trouble with our vendors because they will get a PO with a drawing number, but no drawing. Our logistics/purchasing man can send a PO in seconds, but he can't seem to manage SW Explorer to find a drawing, check it out, and attach it to an email. We use QuickBooks as our inventory and accounting software. We have created a custom field in QuickBooks for drawing no. and revision no.

Is there a simpler way for someone to find a drawing than having to navigate SW Explorer and searching the vault?

Is there a simple way to create PDF versions of the drawings in the PDM Workgroup vault?
