Have the ability to use something similar to the “select connected faces” command so if you want to add say a chamfer to a boss edge and you have 4 bosses with 8 edges that all are same length you can pick them easy.

I have added a video that show how many picks I have to make to add chamfer but if we had functionality like “select connected faces" one of the options could be "same length" edges
