I am working on some models that are going to be part of a technical installation manual. In my model I have saved views which put the model in the orientation I want (this saved view also incorporates a section view). I also have configurations which hide/show the level of detail I need. All looks beautimous in the model but when I try to create a drawing from this which eventually goes into a word .doc then things get ugly. When I create the drawing I can tell it which view orientation I want and it uses that. I can tell it which config I want and it uses that also. The problem is that the sectioning that is associated with my chosen view orientation does NOT come through. This is the most important aspect of the drawing and is a must have. Is there any way to get SW to use the section displayed in the model???
I realize I can create section views in a drawing, but this only seems to work with orthographic projections. I cant get the exact orientation I want AND a section at the same time.
Please help!
Thanks
