Hi,

Please excuse me if I am asking in a silly place, first time using the forums in 6 years of SolidWorks!

I use section views a lot but I would like the section view arrows to be displayed external to the model in the view, not overlapping the sketch.

This can be acheieved by drawing the section sketch outside of the drawing, however when I draw the section line I usually want to snap each end to a midpoint of a line which means I can't draw it off sketch.

Any ideas?
