I made an assembly of a coffeemug and a lid for the mug which should be closed by screw thread. The model will be 3D-printed so the screw thread should really fit into each other. At this moment it seems like it fits (no interferences), but the lid is to long for the mug. Preferably I would cut out a piece of it in the middle, but is that possible? I attached the files so it will perhaps be clearer.
