I have two questions about ScanTo3D Add-Ins:

1. In extracting a sub-mesh as Plane, Cylinder or Sphere in the Surface Extraction for Guided creation, what mathematical method is used for this fitting process? Does it use for example least square method for fitting a plane to an existing cloud point data?  Does this matter discussed in SolidWorks documentations?

2. Using Surface to mesh deviation type in the Deviation Analysis in ScanTo3D Add-Ins, Sometimes graphical outputs don’t have a good quality especially in edges. For example:
