Is it possible to save a SW drawing which has shaded view asa dxf or dwg and still maintain the shading?

I am trying to open get view into Adobe Illustrator. Best optionthat I have found without getting pixelated image when I zoom in,is to save as dxf or dwg. Problem is result lacks the shading/coloras was in the SW drawing view.

Any suggestions? End result must be in Adobe Illustrator.
