I am using Solidworks 2014 SP0.0 and I would like to know if there is a way that I can save a part file, that contains sketches, as a step file to include these sketches.

I've tried a few things but nothing seems to work.

In the Export Options dialog box, "export sketch entities" is greyed out unless I select the output as "wireframe" option. For some strange reason I cannot open the file if I save as a wireframe in step format.

The Export Options dialog box that I see seems to be different to the one that Solidworks mentions in their online help tool, for example it mentions "3D Curves" as an output option but I don't have that option in my dialog box.

I have saved many files as steps before in the past with no trouble, just wondering if anyone can help me with this one.
