Hello,

If in an assembly file a choose "insert components" -> "new parts" , create this way a new part inside the assembly drawing, and then I save the assembly, in my solidworks 2014 the new part is automatically saved as an embedded  file inside the assembly file. Actually I remember in the past solidworks was at list asking me if I wanted to save it in an external file (way that I prefere), but not now.

How was I able to tell solidworks to save it in an external file related to the Assembly file?
