About the most aggravating feature of Solidworks is that once a part is edited, there seems to be no way of closing the part without the changes being saved. Since the Undo function continues to only undo when it feels like it, this is a massive pain in the sitting equipment.
I just got through editing a part. I tried to figure out why the darned thing, a sheetmetal part, wouldn't flatten. It said there was geometry that it couldn't flatten. It was one bend, two ribs, and some holes. Obviously, the problem would be the ribs, so I deleted them, thinking I could add them back as an edge flange. But the stupid thing still wouldn't flatten. So I gave up, figuring it to be yet another 2010 bug, and I closed the file without saving, but now the drawing shows the part with the changes. Is it a big deal for me to fix it? No. It's just one more stupid thing that SW should have fixed ten years ago and it really makes me angry that I'm paying good money for this silliness. Rant off.
