Is there an easy way to select certain features, or faces or whatever from a part, and do a "Save As" so that you can save just those items selected into a new file? I can google lots of ways to do this from an assembly but not from a part. The reason I want to do this is because I sometimes get mold parts that require engraving. The engraving on the CAD file is made as geometry and we need a graphics based file for programming purposes. I would like to simply select the bottom faces of the geometry and "Save As" into a graphic format. Any ideas or other methods I should know about? Keep in mind that I do not want to re-draw any of the engraving because that is where mistakes happen.
