I made a macro to test the waters and thought that after making it I could just hit my key(s) and it would run.  Do I actually have to go to the macro menu and choose RUN every time I want to run a macro?  Seem to defeat the whole purpose of a shortcut.  I KNOW I must be missing something.  I looked at help but it said I must do this.
