routingMultiple pins one Cpoint

I am currently using SW 2018 Premium Routing and I am having a problem with creating a connector with a CPoint with multiple Pins. I have followed the instructions given in the SW Help documentation stating that under "2D Schematic Pin ID" you can specify your pins by separating the numbers with a "," (comma) ie: 1,2,3,4. This did not work. When wiring the connector in the assembly, the drop-down for the pins gives one option named "1,2,3,4" instead of 4 options named "1" and "2" and....

The reason why I want only one Cpoint with multiple pins instead of multiple CPoints is because I am not using SW Electrical. I dont have the luxury of creating a schematic, assigning all pins to CPoints. I am modelling deutsch connectors from 2 pin to 26 pin configurations and it gets tedious to make an individual route to each CPoint instead of stating pin numbers when wiring the routes.

The other option is to create From-To lists for all of the harnesses and sticking to connectors with multiple CPoints. I am creating harnesses for large construction vehicles and I find it more efficient to draw line routes instead of auto routing and then routing through clips.

Not sure if I am missing a simple step somewhere but would appreciate it if anyone has an idea of what I am doing wrong.
