Has anyone else experienced a REALLY Buggy user experience with routing for the last couple of releases? Some Examples:
Elbows - solidworks arbitrarily deciding that elbows arent possible....... The bend angle is 90°, the radius is 1.5x nom pipe size, just like always, but sometimes it will work, then on rebuild later wont (you can only form a bend). Then randomly will again on the same route.
Olets - have also been a HUGE pain. You drop them onto one pipe and then try to click a dimension, it will sometimes work, and sometimes lock into place, and you cant dimension where the olet should be. The only semi-commonality I see here is that it doesnt like the second olet. The first usually drops in ok, but if you drop a second weldolet or threadolet beside it, its locked. Like solidworks can only identify one. Sometimes you drop it onto a branch pipe, and then click ok, and it just moves to the main run pipe.
I use routing almost daily for years, and the last couple of updates I have taken solidworks routing course, so its not like I'm making newbie errors, its just gotten bad. I have gone back to manually extruding pipe and mating to fittings, because the routing experience has gotten so poor for me.
Am I the only one? I've overhauled all of my parts which was a huge pain to try to see if it was my route components. Didn't help.
