It seems I am having the same issue that is described in the following threads:

To sum it up, when I create a new electrical harness assembly, auto-route between two connection points, add a wire and select its path, and then exit the sketch, the route parts folder is not created and neither are the sweeps of the wires. I have been successful in trying the same steps on a co-worker's computer and even on my own computer I can create new wire sweeps if I edit an assembly that already contains the route parts folder. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can try so that I can start harness assemblies froms scratch?
