I am new to Solidworks... I am trying to route pipe from component to another.  Sometimes my flanges will attach to the right location, right size and right direction but on some imported (Solidworks approved) components the flanges will not attach correctly.  I have tried in my assembly drawing and also in an assembly with just the import pump.  No luck in trying to get flange to attach.  This also goes for reducers wanting to attach 90 from the pipe.... any suggestions to my errors.
