Is it possible to reverse engineer a double enveloping worm wheel from scan data without the matching worm gear? Ideally this would be modeled with equations using Wheel OD, Number of Teeth, etc. I do not have the information on the worm gear. I have no issues if it is possible and I just need to run through several iterations if I can get a good start. From all I can find you need to create the worm gear then use a cavity feature to get the wheel teeth. Are there not equations for the wheel?
