I have a small device where a moving world is supported by two thin strips of spring steel. The moving world is scanned back and forth in one axis by a voice coil actuator. While doing a modal analysis, I am specifically interested in the modes that are excited by the forces of the motor. How can I restrain my model in a modal analysis to only show modes that are excited by the forces of the motor? A picture is shown below:
