Replacing parts in an assembly controlled by a design table

Hey guys, I recently revised a previously released assembly to change 2 fittings whose suppression states were controlled by a design table and when one is suppressed the other is active.  I used the replace command so it would maintain all the links however it doesn't appear to have kept the link as 1 item is active in every configuration while the other is suppressed in every configuration.  The \$STATE@part_no are correct in the DT so I don't believe that's the issue.  If you select "Configure Component" using the tree 1 item suppressed itself in every configuration and the other was active in every configuration, which is how it is if you click through the configurations.  Any idea how to rebuild the link?  I tried typing over the state commands but that did nothing.  I can use the "Configure Component" from the design tree but I'd rather keep the links in the DT.  Any thoughts?
