I am working on an assembly with a large number of configurations. Some of the components the assembly uses are identical and I would like to know if there is a way I can add them to the design table as a single column for each set instead of a single column for each individual component?

For example, the assembly has 18 components assembled in pairs. Each pair is always identical so I would like to be able to reduce the size of the design table by adding 9 columns instead of 18 columns. Is there a way to "group" multiple \$CONFIGURATION columns?

I was able to do the same function to suppress the items by creating Folders for each pair and adding the folders to the design table, but I couldn't figure out a way to do the same for changing the config of the components.
