I have a question regarding removing files from replicated archive server to free some space.

I have one main archive server, with all of the files, and few replicated archive servers, with files that was created or needed in our branch offices. For archive projects I don't need to keep files on replicated servers.

• How can I delete those old files without removing whole server?
• Can I remove copies directly from replicated server?
• What will be the impact on the PDM? Will replicated server download copy from the main server if someone in branch office will try to open it?
• Is there any tool to automate this process?

I don't want to use cold storage, because I don't want to restrict access for those files. Those files will stay at my main archive server. If someone from branch office will need those files, they should be available to download.
