Has anyone been able to successfully remove the X from the beginning of their standard hole callout?

I am trying to modify my calloutformat.txt file so that the "#X" is removed from the front of my hole callout. I've seen some posts about modifying "NO-NUMBER-OF-INSTANCES" but I'm not seeing any changes there. Can it be done?

I'm using just plain ANSI holes from Hole Wizard in this example.
