We have installed just Solidworks Standard 2015 on a Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit PC in our office.

The software runs fine with no problems when using it in the office.

We also use Windows Remote Desktop to access this PC from our designer's home - he has been using remote desktop for many months for other applications with no problem.

He tried to run Solidworks remotely and gets the following error message:

"Solidworks has stopped working"

To rule out a problem with his PC I tried from my home PC & received the same error message.

I have checked the sldworks.exe program & it's windows security is set up to allow everyone to run it.

When I sign in to the Solidworks PC remotely using Go To MY PC it runs with no problem.

Anyone runs into this problem with Remote Desktop?
