Can anyone help me out how can i replace hardware components in a Assembly file with standard Toolbox components??

Actually we are trying to use SolidWorks toolbox only as the hardware library for all the existing assemblies in the vault, which were created by using hardware components downloaded from various external sources.

When i try to replace component I am directed to browse file which make it difficult or near to impossible to track down the exact hardware in toolbox.

You help is utmost required in this matter.
