Hi all,
I am trying to render a scene with a spot light source to look like a laser beam. I have the light source set to a divergence angle of .25 degrees and not attenuation. I have turned up fog settings so I can see the light. When the beam goes through some materials which I have defined as highly refracting, the beam does not change direction, even though the beam is hitting the materials at an angle. I have tried setting the number of refractions high, but I still do not see the beam deflecting when it enters the high refractive index materials at an angle. Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks,
Chris
