We manage all of our purchased components in the vault so all users have access to the same files and duplicates are not created. This includes fasteners as well. One of the engineers this morning opened his design up and all the fasteners were suppressed. When he unsuppressed them a message stated that the file could not be found. However when he browsed for the file the correct folder came up with the referenced part and loaded with no problems.
I opened the assembly on my machine and all referenced files loaded correctly.
Any ideas on why this is happening to him? Normally this happens when an engineer is referencing local files and the assembly is opened up by a different person who can't access the local files. This is not the case here.
Thanks
Jeff
