Is there a way to only replace referenced documents if SolidWorks can't find the original file?

On our "online" working environment, EPDM, we have some fasteners... BOLT.sldprt for example in an assembly.

And on our "offline" working environment we have some fasteners called BOLT.sldprt for e.g. in an assy.

I currently want to move the BOLT.sldprt into an "Legacy" folder in the offline environment so I added a link into File Locations > Referenced Documents, to the Legacy folder:

I thought adding this link in would only replace the reference to BOLT.sldprt if it cant find the original file (because it used to belong in Fasteners).

But having this link in SolidWorks means that it is replacing the references to BOLT.sldprt in the EPDM assemblies  as well.
