I am trying to split a surface with Split Line and keepgetting the following error:

Cannot create edge which does not split a face

Does anyone know what causes this error so that I can do thisproperly?

I am trying to do an intersection split line. I have my cuttingsurface and the surface I want to split selected, and I see apreview of the split line. But when I hit the check box I get thaterror and I ahve no clue what I am doing incorrect.

If anyone can shed some light on this please let me know. My VARcan't tell me what I am doing wrong, or what causes that errormessage.
