rebooting drops Space Explorer 3d mouse drivers

Every time my system reboots, I lose my 3dconnexion drivers for all of my programs but it is Solidworks for which I rely on them the most.

I am running Quad-core 9450 with 6gb ram. PNY Nvidia Quadro 4000. I am running win 7 64 bit. I have a 128Gb SSD. The only programs on the SSD are the operating system, Solidworks, and Mastercam. As you can imagine I am getting blazing performance. I rely heavily on SpaceExplorer from 3dconnexion. I have used a trackball for at least 4 years and this is by far the best. I have had it a little more than a year.

I am using the latest drivers from 3dconnexion. This problem also happened in XP 64 bit. I changed to Win7 and went to an SSD trying to isolate and help this issue.

3dConnexion gave me a very detailed uninstall procedure which includes uninstalling program, registry edits, searching and deleting certain user files and cleaning C: drive through the property utilities, then rebooting, disableing firewall and reinstalling drivers. If you omit any one of these steps reinstall will fail.

I have tried loading the driver and SpaceExplorer software on other logical and physical hard drive partitions.

It is a testament to my happiness with the device that I go through this everytime my computer reboots.

This is the only driver that reacts this way.

Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thanks
