I am interested in creating a desktop application that can read File Data and BOM Data from and EPDM vault. The workstation that the desktop application is installed on would only have access to the Web2 client, in other words the Desktop EPDM client would not be installed.

Is there a way to hook into the Web2 deployment on IIS to get access to a webservice that my desktop application could use to read data from the vault?
